This Guy Is the Mac Whisperer (and Probably a Jedi in Disguise)
So here’s the deal: if your iMac suddenly pulls a “Broadway blackout” and leaves you staring into the void while your life’s work hums faintly in the background, you need Tommy from MacMyDay — not tomorrow, today.
Tommy showed up like a scene-stealing character from a tech-comedy crossover of Superbad and South Park (minus the profanity and teenage chaos). He was upbeat, wicked smart, totally honest, and not once did I feel like I was being hustled, upsold, or dragged into a 14-step “tech enlightenment program.” The man is a tech guru meets philosopher, with a little bit of music producer and friendly neighbor energy thrown in.
He didn’t just assess my ancient iMac (which, bless it, had finally gone to the dark side — literally), he walked me through realistic, budget-friendly options to rebuild my setup without making me feel like I had to sell a kidney or join a startup. His advice? All tailored for me, not some one-size-fits-all checklist. And he made it fun — yes, fun — to talk about external drive casings and system upgrades.
Tommy is observant, kind, and thinks like someone who’s been in your shoes — which means you walk away feeling heard, helped, and way less freaked out about your tech. Also, 10/10 for vibes, conversation, and not being a robot.
Seriously, just call him. It’s rare to find people like this in any field — much less one where trust, data, and your digital life are on the line.
Five stars, because 10 stars isn’t an option.
I was referred to Tommy by my neighbor 2 days ago after I told her that my Yahoo Mail had abruptly stopped updating.
I immediately reached out to Tommy. He resolved the problem quickly with great expertise, patience, and even humor.
He checked in with me this morning to make sure that everything was still running smoothly.
He had told me not to hesitate to contact him if any other issues arise. He definitely went above and beyond. He was an absolute pleasure to work with.
I am so grateful for his help! He is AWESOME!!!
I found MacMyDay via a referral and now sleep better knowing I have their number. I had a pressing but tough-to-diagnose hardware issue with my iMac that was causing it to restart out of nowhere. I reached out to MacMyDay on a Friday afternoon. By Saturday morning, they had correctly diagnosed the issue, fixed it, and were ready to hand back my computer – and charged me less than expected. Super nice and knowledgeable, can’t say enough good things about MacMyDay.
Tommy was amazing – he solved my issues and educated me on a few things. He went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. He really did MacMyDay 🙂
Tommy is absolutely the best, hands down! He provided service both in person to set-up my new laptop, as well as via phone, with some emergencies. Tommy is super knowledgeable, efficient, funny and friendly. Even for someone as technologically inept as me, he made correction a breeze! Once you have the privilege of receiving Tommy’s services, you’ll have all your Mac needs met! He definitely Macd My Day!!!
Tommy is incredible at all things Mac. And a very good person to work with. I had the good fortune to get his connection through a professional group more than 10 years ago. Many times he has helped me out of stressful situations where a project is on the line. He has upgraded Macs for me and helped with purchases. Recently he made a house call to help me upgrade my system. It took two visits and he was extremely accommodating, friendly and patient! Further, I am writing this note in January of 2025, a very tough time in Los Angeles. Tommy is one of those people who has been the right guy in the right place to help people retrieve data. He has been adamant about having redundant back up, which thankfully I do. In closing, in my family we have counsel from a priest, a rabbi and Tommy.
