About Last Night…

I had the opportunity to attend the 5th Anniversary Cine Gear Kickoff Party, “Gaffers Salon,” hosted by CFG Rental Group. I was invited by CFG Warehouse Manager and my son, Jake Grafman.

The event was packed, with hundreds of industry professionals in attendance. Between the live DJ, full bar, and incredible energy, it was a fantastic evening. The vendor lineup was equally impressive, featuring industry leaders such as Aputure, Godox, Nanlux, and Profoto, it truly was a gaffer’s paradise.

One of the highlights of the night was meeting so many great people, including members of the CFG team and CFG President Brandon. I was also treated to a tour of the CFG facility and their new livestream and video podcast studio, CFG Creator Spaces, developed in partnership with Blackstone Entertainment. The studio’s set design and lighting were absolutely stunning.
