THINGS ARE HEATING UP! Computers and Heat do NOT mix…

Posted by Tommy Grafman and Todd Frank - July 27, 2011 - e-blasts - No Comments

Heat can effect your computer. If you have an environment that is prone to higher than normal temperatures, say higher than 80 degrees, then you should consider either having your computer in an AC area, or purchase an oscillating fan to be placed near the ventilation openings of your Mac.

Excessive heat can cause irreparable damage to the insides of your Mac. If you are unsure about your workspace environment, simply call your MacMyDay service tech and we can determine the best cause of action for you to take to ensure that your Mac runs smoothly despite the summer heat.

Also, as always make sure your Mac is backing-up properly to avoid all loss of data. Any questions, Contact your MacMyDay service tech.
