MACMYDAY on SNOW LEOPARD

Snow Leopard is the best upgrade for any Intel Mac! I currently have a Intel iMac (2GHz) And after I installed Snow Leopard, it has revitalized my computer. I feel like I have a whole new computer, a speed demon! The start up and and shut down is extremely fast. All of my apps snap open now (Snow Leopard is a true 64-bit operating system, as the previous Leopard was only 32-bit). With more under the hood including Grand Central Dispatch that takes full advantage of the Intel multi core processors. OpenCL allows developers to take advantage of the better graphic card speeds, QuickTime X and much more under the hood of this amazing new OS. One of my favorites is that Safari is blazing fast, rendering web pages at high speed. Snow Leopard is the MUST HAVE for all of our Intel based MacMyDay clients.

Snow Leopard is great so far.  I love the speed of the new O/S.  Opening apps is much faster, and I have tried every App I have loaded on my MacBook Pro laptop. I did notice that Adobe CS/4 opens much quicker.  I haven’t noticed any real differences between 10.5 & 10.6, but I have not tried printing from it, or hooking it up to my printer.  But the overall feel is a much smoother and faster Leopard.  And after installing it on an a first generation Intel Imac, with 2GB Ram, it made the Imac act like a brand new machine, faster than machines much newer that run Tiger or Leopard. -TODD FRANK (818) 632-3656 todd@macmyday.com
