New Movies Available on iTunes Same
Day as DVD Release
Today
Apple® announced that new movie releases from major film
studios and premier independent studios are available for
purchase on the iTunes® Store on the same day as their
DVD release. New releases and catalog titles will be available
from 20th Century Fox, The Walt Disney Studios, Warner Bros.,
Paramount Pictures, Universal Studios Home Entertainment,
Sony Pictures Entertainment, Lionsgate, Image Entertainment
and First Look Studios. Movies purchased from iTunes can
be viewed on an iPod® with video, iPhone™, Mac® or
PC or on a widescreen TV with Apple TV®, with new releases
priced at $14.99 and most catalog titles at $9.99.
New releases
available for purchase on the iTunes Store this week, concurrent
with their DVD release, include “American
Gangster” and “The Diving Bell and the Butterfly.” Other
popular titles now available for purchase include “Juno,” “Cloverfield,” “I
Am Legend,” “There Will Be Blood,” “Alvin
and the Chipmunks” and “Walk Hard: The Dewey
Cox Story.” Movie purchases and rentals
from the iTunes Store for Mac or Windows require iTunes 7.6.2,
available as a free download immediately from www.itunes.com.

Apple Posts Record Second Quarter
Results
Apple® today
announced financial results for its fiscal 2008 second quarter
ended March 29, 2008. The Company posted revenue of $7.51
billion and net quarterly profit of $1.05 billion, or $1.16
per diluted share. Revenues are up 43 percent year-over-year.
These results compare to revenue of $5.26 billion and net
quarterly profit of $770 million, or $.87 per diluted share,
in the year-ago quarter.
Apple shipped 2,289,000 Macintosh® computers during the
quarter, representing 51 percent unit growth and 54 percent
revenue growth over the year-ago quarter. The Company sold
10,644,000 iPods during the quarter, representing one percent
unit growth and eight percent revenue growth over the year-ago

Final Cut Server Now Shipping
Apple
announced today it that it has begun shipping Final Cut Server,
a powerful software solution for media asset management and
workflow automation. Final Cut Server automatically catalogs
large collections of assets, allows searching across multiple
disks and SAN volumes, and enables viewing, annotation and
approval of content from anywhere using a PC or Mac. Click

50 Million iTunes Fans and 4 Billion
Songs Can't Be Wrong!
Apple announced today that
the iTunes Store surpassed Wal-Mart to become the number
one music retailer in the U.S. This is based on the latest
data from the NPD Group*. With over 50 million customers,
iTunes has sold over four billion songs and features the
world’s largest music catalog of over six million songs.
*Based on data from market research firm the NPD Group’s
MusicWatch survey that captures consumer reported past week
unit purchases and counts one CD representing 12 tracks,
excluding wireless transactions. The iTunes Store became
the largest music retailer in the US based on the amount
of music sold during January and February 2008. Click

made several security upgrades in the past few weeks regarding
their email server. While this is a good thing, there have
been some issues for a lot of you. The
main problem is not being able to send email. This
issues mainly effects people who have their own web domain
or using 3rd party email names e.g. (info@macmyday.com).
If you are experiencing any of these problems, save yourself
the trouble and frustation of calling into their tech support,
